Providence Health & Services Assistant Operations Support in Beaverton, Oregon


Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Assistant Operations Support to our location in Beaverton, OR. T his position will be remote for the remainder of 2021 and may pivot to a hybrid model in 2022 working a combination of in office and remote. We are seeking candidates that are available in commute distance to the office in Beaverton, OR.

We are seeking a Assistant Operations Support who will effectively support the day-to-day activities of multiple Coding Compliance teams.


  1. Ability to work with a wide variety of people in a constructive, professional manner.

  2. Respond to changing priorities and direction from multiple departments while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

  3. Ability to take on new responsibilities with minimal training.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Update provider contact information.

  • Add and edit various code sets as directed.

  • Manage heavy workflow through Fax Queue.

  • Data Entry for Risk adjustment purposes.

  • Ability to run multiple audit sheets and reports in access.

  • Collect and distribute medical records to appropriate personnel or departments.

  • Compile and send provider communication materials.

  • Distribute mail and other communications as appropriate.

  • Scan medical records to worksight as directed.

  • Release claims related to Annual Wellness visits.

  • Review Medical records for completeness.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Five (5) years clerical experience in an office or healthcare setting.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration Services or equivalent education/experience.

  • Contemporary knowledge of the managed care industry.
