Providence Health Plan is calling an Associate Coding Analyst who will:
Be responsible for detailed diagnostic coding associated with Risk Adjustment and HCC Coding
Impact revenue and CMS compliance with the coordination of technically detailed coding applications that impacts operations, programmatic and information systems, as well as contracted providers
Have a comprehensive understanding of ICD-10 and other types of coding to Health Plan, contracted facilities, and providers
Identify and research provider diagnostic coding issues, medical record review, documentation standards and identifying and offering education in relation to provider coding errors
Serve in an advisory role in development of Health Plan Payment Rules to risk adjustment

Required qualifications for this position include:
1+ years' experience working within a healthcare provider organization or health insurance company
Demonstrated experience in project completion, educational program development and/or group presentation
Computer experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
CCS-P, CCS-H, CPC-P, or CPH-H certification
CCS, CPC, CRC, RHIT or RHIA
