Providence Health & Services Healthcare Data Analyst 2 in Beaverton, Oregon
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Healthcare Data Analyst 2 to our location in Beaverton, OR.
We are seeking a Healthcare Data Analyst 2 to be responsible for designing, implementing, and coordinating data analysis projects.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Provide key analytic and statistical support for quality, clinical, and operational improvement activities. Includes effectively summarizing complex information into appropriate charts, tables, and figures in order to convey the meaning of the data to customers and decision-makers.
Develop programming and provide analytic support for the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) HEDIS Measures and risk adjustment.
Develop, prepare, and distribute complex clinical and operational reports utilizing multiple data systems.
Develop and provide support for relational databases, including reporting, design, and data management.
Provide key analytic, statistical support and database management for accreditation and other external regulatory review, audit activities, disease management, provider profiling, case management, concurrent review, prior authorization, and other utilization and quality management functions.
Provide project management for mid-sized projects.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree in highly quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering/Physics, Accounting, or Computer Science), plus 5 years of experience in data analysis OR High School Education or equivalent, plus 7 years of experience in data analysis.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Healthcare organization/health insurer experience.
Statistical modeling experience.
