Manager Clinical Pharmacy Operations
This position will be remote and will pivot to a hybrid model in 2022 working a combination of in office and remote. We are seeking candidates that are available in commute distance in our offices in Southwest WA, Portland OR and/or broader Oregon.
This Clinical Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the successful development, implementation, and ongoing management of our clinical pharmacy programs, inclusive of our Medication Therapy Management, Transitions of Care, and collaboration with provider groups. This program is part of an innovative pharmacy benefit solutions division that seeks to develop solutions that serves our communities and supports high quality clinical outcomes while improving the total cost of care for our members. Oversees a high-caliber staff of clinical pharmacy specialists, pharmacy practice residents, pharmacy technicians, and business analyst/coordinators that support pharmacy and care management programs for Providence Health Plan.
Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
PharmD or Masters Residency
Master's Degree in Pharmacy with residency or equivalent education/experience
Project management, Six Sigma, Change Acceleration Process (CAP), Lean and Work Out training - with at least 1 of these required within 1 year of entering position.
Current licensure by Oregon State Board of Pharmacy (or eligible to meet requirement of Oregon State Board with licensure required before employment.)
3 years Management experience within managed care.
3 years Direct personnel management or supervisory experience in a pharmacy practice setting with demonstration of supervisory and administrative ability documented.
5 years Experience in ambulatory or acute care pharmacy practice which included responsibility for drug therapy evidence assessment and/or formulary management as well as direct consultation and presentation of medication information to physicians and/or patients.
Project management, Six Sigma, Change Acceleration Process (CAP), Lean and Work Out training experience - with at least 1 of these required within 1 year of entering position
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Managed Care pharmacy practice experience.
