Providence is calling a Senior Account Executive who will:
Be responsible for Plan revenue growth by generating and implementing new group business in both the fully insured and self-insured markets
Be integral to the development and maintenance of key business relationships and is a highly visible face of the Plan in a complex and competitive marketplace
Serve in a consultative capacity
Ensure Producer/Consultant training and productivity
Facilitate cross-selling revenue enhancement to maximize Providence Health and Services penetration with Workplace Health Services opportunities

Primary Responsibilities:
Routinely exceeds goals and quotas for membership growth within fully insured and self-insured lines of business.
Employs consultative selling and problem-solving to ensure match between customer's core needs and Providence services, determines future needs, and recommends modifications to existing products/service lines
Identifies new employer, consultant, and producer prospects on an ongoing basis
Maintains current knowledge of Health Plan products, competitors, industry trends, and related legislative requirements
Actively reviews product, marketing and sales materials and provides clear and concise feedback regarding market needs and product positioning
Provides continual education and consultation to the producer/customer through proactive contacts, follow up on opportunities, and professional contract/benefit negotiations
Mentors other Account Executives and additional staff with regard to sales technologies, sales process, product and/or selling strategies
Evaluates and makes appointment decisions regarding prospective producer partners in assigned regions
Engages and directs internal units to ensure appropriate services/products/value adds are being delivered and implemented as required
Indirectly manages service deliverables across department lines to manage process and meet performance targets
Evaluates prospects for potential self-funding opportunities
Represents the Health Plan at industry events and trade shows
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree -OR- a combination of equivalent education / experience
10+ years of combined experience with insurance industry sales & or a related sales field, Experience includes fully insured and self-insured
Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information
