Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Manager, Tech Integration PSJH to our location in Renton, WA, Seattle, WA, or Portland, OR.

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Tech Integration PSJH who will be accountable for PSJH technology assessment, planning, deployment and operational activities in direct support of the strategic partnerships, affiliations, acquisitions, IS provisioning and other initiatives. Responsible to facilitate the delivery of Epic end user technology including computing, neworking, Biomed integration and related infrastructure.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Guides team to collect data, prepare designs, maintain standards and coordinate efforts for multiple portfolios and programs. Establishes effective, standard solutions for projects and customers balancing need, cost and functionality in support of clinical and administrative workflows.

  • Structures and leads multiple large, complex, sometimes high-risk projects. Develops, manages and executes project plans (objectives, goals, scope, schedules resources costs, and dependencies) that are integrated and synchronized with other areas of the business adjusting plans across the business as required to ensure successful delivery of commitments and effective use of resources.

  • Manage the daily activities of support, operations and project delivery for a geographically diverse technology team. Coordinate the utilization of staff needed to assist with other projects.

  • Is meticulous in executing defined administrative practices including financial management, personnel management, compliance, mission, and other defined areas.

  • Ensures systems are engineered for optimal availability, reliability, scalability, and performance. Creates documents and refines operational processes.

  • Holds vendors responsible for delivery of contracted products and services.

  • Knows when to proactively communicate with leadership about issues and problems that exist in their own functional area; performs daily interaction with staff; holds regular team meetings.

  • Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering system structure, technical capacity and desired results; prepare detailed documentation to support system operational functions.

  • Lead efforts to develop enterprise standards in support of the end user computing environment including personal computing, networking and Biomed integration.

  • Maintain knowledge in strategy, healthcare trends, and technologies, applying appropriately to PSJH integration efforts.

  • Ability to travel as required.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Healthcare or equivalent education/experience.

  • 8 years hands on technical support of IT infrastructure and/or end user computing, or similar role.

  • 6 years leadership experience.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience with Epic end user technology.

  • Experience in Healthcare highly preferred.
