Providence Health & Services Senior Product Manager in Beaverton, Oregon
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Product Manager to our location in Renton, WA; Redmond, WA; Portland or Beaverton, OR.
Strategic Technology Enablement (STE), within the Providence Information Services organization, proactively engages with Providence technology partners (TPs): Marketing-Dex, Community Partnerships, Population Health, Corporate Communications, Philanthropy, Research, and Providers Solution & Development (PS&D). STE and TPs collaborate to ensure strategy alignment between the respective orgs and operational support from IS, working within a governance and cadence framework.
The Senior Product Manager combines user experience, business expectations, and technology to define and deliver products for our TP's specifically, PS&D. The role provides simple solutions to complex problems. This role works in a fast paced, evolving environment, with constant demands for better services. It requires strong problem resolution, decision making, communication, and partnering skills. This role acts as the primary relationship manager with business partners and stakeholders served by the product line, ensuring full engagement and communication, resolution of general issues and alignment of business and IT strategy for the product.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities :
Responsible for driving strategic and tactical initiatives through strategic planning, business process management, program/project management, and change management.
Define 12-month roadmap that includes product features that bring the product vision to life and is easily understood across organizational leaders, partners, and users.
Demonstrated experience in developing systems to monitor risks and dependencies and report changes.
Expertise in working effectively across disciplines and organizational boundaries to gain timely closure on decisions that impact own project/solution/portfolio. Ability to ask the right questions to resolve issues and applies creative solutions to meet project objectives.
Define the blueprint of ‘what’, ‘when’, and ‘why’ for product features or operational requests.
Develop a deep understanding of user base, define, and use personas to articulate and prioritize pain points and opportunities.
Is curious about the underlying technology and architecture of the product and able to apply it in a meaningful way to impacts of business processes and/or solution design.
Responsible for gathering, transforming, analyzing, and communicating data in such a manner that supports effective decision-making. This includes leading A/B testing, defining, and delivering on key performance indicators, and ensuring product-market fit.
Lead and deliver programs comprised of several small to medium sized projects, or a large complex project. Leads with collaboration, manages key stakeholders, removes roadblocks, and drives overall quality project delivery. Anticipates risks and issues and takes preventative actions.
Understanding of and ability to use SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
Strong communication skills with the ability to describe technical solutions in customer language in a way that informs, persuades, and engages the audience, leveraging mutually defined criteria for success.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering -OR- twelve (12) years of equivalent experience.
Five (5) years Product Management experience with mid to large size organizations building enterprise grade applications and experiences.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Five (5) years experience in SQL, Cloud, Visual Studio, Power BI, PowerPoint, ADO or other tools.
