Providence Health & Services Supervisor, IAM (Identity and Access Management) Operations PSJH in Beaverton, Oregon


Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Supervisor, IAM (Identity & Access Management) Operations PSJH to our location in Beaverton, OR.

We are seeking a Supervisor, IAM Operations PSJH to be accountable for the daily activities of the team along with prioritization and assignment of work. The IAM Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the regular reporting of defined KPIs and standard metrics for use internally within IAM. The position reports to the Manager of Identity & Access Operations and must establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels within verticle structure. This position may be an escalation point for those in need, and must maintain professional and courteous behavior while faced with difficult situations.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:


  • Responsible for gathering requirements and providing recommendations for implementing standard processes that will serve PSJH.

  • Responsible for staff development and performance management of their direct reports.

  • Understand and can represent the IAM workflows, technologies and processes.


  • Under direction of the IAM Operations Manager, assists with hiring, training, and development of staff.

  • Establish performance goals of the staff and oversees evaluations.

  • Resolve disciplinary problems, grievances, and other sensitive personnel matters.


  • Evaluate and recommend new approaches to standardizes operational processes.

  • Audit and enforce adherence to standard processes and policies.

  • Provide positive and supportive work environment.

  • Work with Leadership to ensure communication of critical issues, problems or delays in production.

  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for team members gain quick guidance.


Required q ualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management or related or equivalent education/experience.

  • 3 years experience in an information services setting.

  • 1 year working knowledge of Active Directory, Security Groups and domain structures.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • 1 year leadership role with demonstrated ability to supervise staff highly desired.

  • 1 year experience with healthcare EMR systems.

  • Current technical certification upon hire.
