Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Supervisor, Service Desk PSJH to our location in Beaverton, OR.
We are seeking a Supervisor, Service Desk PSJH to provide a positive, supportive work environment and leadership using the goals and objectives of Providence St. Joseph Health. Promotes and encourages positive team problem solving to empower employees to act effectively to cause change. Responsible for staff development and performance of IS Support Technicians, IS Support Analysts. Assists with hiring and development of staff to ensure the department has both the technical and organizational skills to effectively maintain operations and support. Conducts and oversees evaluations and establishes performance goals of the staff. Responsible for tracking and enforcing performance metrics. Resolves disciplinary problems, grievances and other sensitive personnel matters. Evaluates and recommends optimizations to processes and offers suggestions for new approaches to enhance customer service. Escalates critical issues, problems or delays in production, projects or any other issues that has an impact on the customer. Ensures established guidelines, policies and protocols are being followed when provisioning mission critical enterprise applications. This position is responsible for the supervision of planning, developing and facilitating internal training for new and existing help desk personnel.

Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or Information Services or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 years of Leadership experience
4 years of related IT experience
Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations; live, via online or virtual mediums.
Ability to effectively build relationships with customers, executive management, and other stakeholders through positive interaction and problem identification and resolution.
Ability to represent the company with external customers/clients
Ability to prioritize responsibilities and to organize workload to ensure that timeframes are met and the work is successfully completed within deadlines.
Demonstrated planning and project oversight/management skills.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
HDI Support Center Team Lead certification within 2 years of hire.
ITIL Foundations Certification within 2 years of hire.
